Meet Our Director & Foreman
Our Director Luke Featherstone BA (Hons) is a former Auctioneer & Valuer, having worked at a local Grimsby Auction firm for nearly a decade. He decided to start his own firm after seeing how the typical house clearance to local auction room model was outdated and on more occasions than not, resulted in unnecessary costs to the client. These costs involve carting the contents to the auction room in the first instance at an expensive hourly rate, to the lotting fees, auction disposal fees and auction commission costs, the auction room model is akin to an open chequebook to the client.

Having built up a wide network of contacts in the trade from the age of sixteen, he is able to offer an alternative approach, where the clients contents are incorporated into the overall quote. He can can clear a property and sell the saleable contents directly to the correct buyer, from the general furnishings to collectables, removing the need for his clients to pay firms to unnecessarily transport items to auction rooms. This allows for one simple process, a property will be cleared of its entire contents, and dependant on what is in the property, either a charge will be applied if there is little to no saleable content, in some cases a property can be cleared entirely free of charge if there is a mixture of saleable and disposal, or we can purchase the house clearance if there is enough saleable value. We have often paid in excess of four figure sums for a house clearance. If there are particularly special contents in a property, we can identify them and offer to auction them directly on your behalf on a worldwide platform to achieve their maximum value.
